Any positive stories following heavy bleeding for a few days?

I’ve posted on here already after a heatbreaking few days. Had an internal scan Monday, and pregnancy was viable, heart beat detected and was approximately 6-7 weeks. They gave me 6 weeks and 4 days to work off.

(Sorry if it’s all TMI) 24 hours later, was gushing blood. Went to A&E, 6 hours later the doctors said my cervix was closed and that the bleeding could be as bad as it is because I’ve been taking 75mg of aspirin (was taking the aspirin on my own accord, had read online it could help prevent a miscarriage and pre eclampsia)

It’s now Thursday, and I’m still bleeding like I’m day 2/3 of a period. Heavy flow sometimes when I go to the toilet after being sat down for a long time, then small sensations of gushes in my pad.

No large clots. Mainly stringy/fresh blood. Mild stomach cramping that’s been coming and going.

Midwife has advised they won’t scan me before Monday and it being 7 days between scans as the heatwave from the ultrasound could affect the pregnancy if it’s still in there.

just praying it’s a Subchorionic Haemotomma but with me still bleeding 3 days now, it’s making me think it’s definitely a miscarriage.

Aw OP I'm sorry. That sounds so worrying.

I had a huge bleed early on in one of my pregnancies, and everything was fine. My sister was similar - really heavy loss but all was well.

On the other hand, I had very light spotting with a different pregnancy, and it ended in miscarriage.

Often, a large amount of bleeding is a bad sign, but it isn't always the case.

I hope things turn out well for you. Have you still got other symptoms, like enlarged breasts and nausea?

Thank you so much for this 😭❤️

ive hardly had any symptoms other then sore breasts! They’ve been very mild today. I did a pregnancy strip test this morning and it was still showing positive. The anxiety of it all is just awful 😭❤️ 4 more days of holding my breath ❤️

How are you, OP?
Have you had another scan?

Hi lovely.

Heartbreaking to say, I’ve lost the baby. EPAU confirmed I miscarried. Passed a huge tissue on Sunday and I just knew in my heart that was the baby.
