Very little Symptoms

I am at very early stages of pregnancy at 4 weeks 6 days. I found out I was pregnant at 3 weeks due to having some symptoms that encouraged me to take a test.
I have had symptoms on and off I've not suffered from nausea or vomiting but have had other generic symptoms. I know it's such an anxious period between now and my first viability scan at 6 weeks. This is because I had a miscarriage in January this year. And the anxiety has got the better of me.
I've had no pain or bleeding, I have spoken with my gp however they will not perform a blood test as I'm too early in my pregnancy.
Mum's and mum's to be have any of you had very little symptoms and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy.
I'm so scared and Google is currently messing with my head.
Any help or advice would really be appreciated. Thank you x

Completely understand the anxiety when you conceive after a loss 💕 It's constant.
I had no real symptoms until I was 7 weeks, then the nausea was horrendous for weeks on end. It's really normal for symptoms not to come this early, and definitely don't take it as a sign that anything is wrong

TropicofCapricorn · 17/04/2025 08:13

I had zero symptoms until about 8 months, and the I was extremely tired. No nausea, no cravings, nothing. Daughter is a very healthy 5 year old.

Every pregnancy is different. X

Thank you for your reply ❤️ it's so worrying and being so early and feeling like there's nothing you can do to check is frustrating. That's reassuring I'm trying to take week by week as a milestone especially after loss i think I have more anxiety currently as its around the same time I had a miscarriage. Thank you it's so much more reassuring to hear others stories rather than generic info via Google!

Heyyy,

I don’t have a story to share but did want to say I sympathise as I am currently 5 weeks after a missed miscarriage in December last year. All your feelings are valid. I don’t really have any symptoms. I am trying to take every day as it comes and remind myself there is nothing I can do now to change the outcome.

Fingers crossed for us both getting a baby at the end of this but completely understand the mental struggle! There is a Due December 2025 thread and a WhatsApp group link on there if you think you’d benefit from the support of that, but also completely understand if not. Good luck in your pregnancy.

Cosycover · 17/04/2025 08:52

Honestly I had no symptoms for two pregnancies. Like zero, zilch. Except my bump and hips expanding. It's probably common. I can remember being very anxious about it too but had two healthy pregnancies. Try not to worry too much 🩷🩵

expat321 · 17/04/2025 09:17

You're still very early on.

My symptoms didn't hit till 7 weeks+

Hi,
Thank you so much for your reply ❤️ as you know it's so stressful, frustrating and alot of worry.
I also think my worry is cancelling out any possible symptoms as I tend to over think.
And your right there's nothing we can do, apart from to try and remain positive easier said than done i know.
And Thank you here's to both pregnancies being healthy.
That's great thank you is the link on here?
And thank you again for your kind words of support xx

I had no symptoms at 6 weeks... by 8 weeks I was hospitalised with Hyperemisis for weeks.

oakl79 · 17/04/2025 11:11

congratulations. I had no symptoms on any of my pregnancies until about 6/7 weeks then it was just tiredness. Try not to overthink this x

PlateSpinner23 · 17/04/2025 12:41

I'm in the same boat. 5w2d today, no symptoms apart from slightly sore boobs. Terrified after suffering a mmc in 2023, and this is my first pregnancy since.
I had my first phone call with midwives this morning and have my booking appt in 3 weeks.
The best advice I've had is just to take it one day at a time, and enjoy each day. You are currently pregnant until proven otherwise.

Trying not to, trying to take each day as it comes. Appreciate your reply 😊

I totally understand this is also my first pregnancy since my mc. My booking appointment is in just over 4 weeks and that wait seems so long.
I must admit I do have a viability scan at the end of the month but even waiting for that is so hard!
Thank you appreciate your kind words 😊 good luck with your pregnancy x

I'm sorry to hear you suffered with that, I guess I should count myself lucky currently!

Zero symptoms for me in either pregnancy other than no periods and a bump! Pease don't worry, although I know it's easier said than done.

Mama09876 · 17/04/2025 14:02

5+2 weeks and hardly any symptoms here! Completely different to my first pregnancy where I was off food/napping from pretty much as soon as I took a test.
this time round feels very different! Eating the same, and if anything finding it difficult to sleep.
first time my boobs never hurt or got bigger whereas this time it’s the only thing I can noticeable feel/see difference.

seems like no to pregnancy’s are the same!

I had no symptoms that early on and also worried about it! I remember one day I had slightly sore breasts and the next day didn’t so was convinced it meant something was wrong! I started feeling nauseous maybe 7 weeks but it was slow. I’m 27 weeks now.

I know it’s hard but try your best not to google, not to overthink, not to go over numerous old Mumsnet threads (I did Grin) - there’s nothing you can do apart from cross your fingers and hope for the best. I know that’s probably not reassuring but just keep distracted and the weeks will slowly pass. Best of luck Flowers
