Not sure if pregnancy loss or very early pregnancy

Hi

started spotting for 12 days where 2/3 days of that were worth a small pad. Some clotting but nothing massive and more tissue than blood. I have had 3 miscarriages in the past so not expecting this pregnancy to be viable tbh but would be perfect to have our rainbow baby finally.

Monday night I was doing food shop and on phone to family. I was so stressed and wanted to cry which isn’t like me. So I bought the cheap test. Did test at around 5:30pm and was a decent line.

contacts GP yesterday and they booked me in for reassurance scan. Nothing to be seen internally or externally. I should be 8w+2. So bloods were done. My levels were 239 and not sure if this is synonymous with a viable pregnancy.
I had drank lots and lots before the scan and the midwife even told me that the urine test that they would be doing wouldn’t be very reliable due to the volume of liquid in my bladder. There was a faint line on that test.

if anyone has gone through the same or similar please let me know.

clear blue done this morning with line appearing straight away.

Firstly so sorry about your previous losses ❤
the blood test done by the GP should test both Hcg and progesterone and based on this they were able to tell me that my previous pregnancy wasn’t viable at around 7w, I would suggest giving them a call and asking some more questions about your results as it doesn’t sound like they’ve given you much to go on! Fingers crossed it’s good news for you xx

Thanks lovely. The GP refused to do me any blood tests. It was the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit at the hospital who did the blood tests. I might call them to see what levels it is that I’ve been given cos I’m in limbo at the moment.
thanks so much xx

The 239 level is hcg

Hopefully they can tell you a bit more about what that number means based on how far along you are x
