Spotting for 2 weeks

I’m around 6 weeks pregnant and have been ‘spotting’ for 2 weeks.

There’s always brown blood when I wipe, and it was pinky/red a couple of times. I don’t need a sanitary towel or anything, and there’s not a lot of it but seems a bit weird for it to happen for a full 2 weeks with no signs of stopping?

I have an early scan tomorrow anyway, but just wondering if anyone else has had similar?

I had almost the exact same thing around 6–7 weeks, brown spotting on and off for about two weeks. It totally freaked me out, but everything was fine at the scan.

Same with me, have had brown/pink/red spotting for almost 3 weeks now. Scans have shown its a subchorionic hematoma and I've been told it might continue until it's bled out, but otherwise everything looks fine on the scan!

This happened to me during my first pregnancy and all was fine. I needed pads as the spotting was heavy ish. Fingers crossed for you

To try and give some reassurance, I am currently 22 weeks pregnant and have had spotting throughout this pregnancy most recent being yesterday. It started the same time as yours! I never had it with my first at all so I’ve been a bit of a nervous wreck up until now.

All of my scans have been fine and I can feel baby moving really well and I’ve had swabs and exams done, all is okay, so try not to panic too much at this stage. I’ve been told that it’s really common until the 2nd trimester and some women like me will have it all the way through with no real cause, it’s just something that some women experience.

I can’t help with the mental toll it takes because I haven’t really enjoyed this pregnancy because of it, but hopefully me being 22 weeks with a healthy baby so far gives you some reassurance about the symptoms at least.
