Is this a positive result?

I am due my period today however been feeling nauseous, sore boobs and extremely tired. Decided to do a test before order ovulation tests as I was convinced I was going to come on cramps etc. the test looks like it has a second line but it is so faint don’t know if I am imaging it or whether this could be a positive. I have to start progesterone straight away due to previous losses but I am unsure if this is positive to commence the progesterone or wait until a re-test. Thanks for any advice! X

That looks like a very obvious positive to me! Those tests are only 25miu I think so if you used a 10miu test it’ll be darker. Do you have any other more sensitive tests?

Okay thank you I’ll go and get some of the earlier detection ones, I really hope so trying not to get my hopes up too much hopefully I’ll have a clearer answer with the early detection ones. Thank you! X

That test looks like the cheap Morrisons test I took at 10DPO which showed negative for me but positive on the earlier detection tests. Two days later it was positive for me. My symptoms were exactly like yours paired with cramping.

Yes it was just a cheap one from Asda. I have bought some clear blue early detection ones just waiting for my morning wee to take it. Thank you everyone 🥰 I really hope we are successful after previous losses that’s for the well wishes xx
