Faint positive line 10 days post frozen embryo transfer

Hi,
for anyone who’s done IVF I’m just looking for some advice.
This is my third embryo transfer. Second frozen one. First one resulted in an early miscarriage. Second one I had a little girl who was born prematurely at 26 weeks due to myself getting preclampsia and HELLP syndrome and she passed away at 5 days old on the NICU and this is number 3. I’ve got a positive test this morning 10 days post transfer but I just don’t know if it’s too light and going to result in another early miscarriage. I’m quite anxious after previous experiences and just want some advice. I’ve attached a picture. Thank you. x

Was it a day 3 or day 5 embryo? It def is positive !

One IVF pregnancy and the line was super strong at day 5, my other IVF pregnancy and the line was super faint all the way until after my official test date. Both babies strong and healthy. Your test looks great!

today is officially test day and I really don’t know what to think! The line is probably slightly lighter I think! The top one is day 10 pregnancy test, bottom one is todays! I’m in the UK so they don’t do the blood test but I think I might try to request one! xx

I would ask for a blood test. I’m in the uk and my fertility clinic does them as standard so I don’t think it’s unreasonable, especially with your history it’s understandable to want the reassurance.

Hi, I’ve tested again today and I think the test is lighter! I’ve put the picture below. My tests were definitely stronger with my first pregnancy! Very worried that this another early miscarriage/chemical pregnancy!

I think the best way to know is getting bloods done unfortunately :/ I had this after an FET last summer, and my tests got darker but then stalled and quite quickly got light again. My second blood test (on day 15 PT I think) confirmed it and I stopped taking progesterone.

Are you on progesterone? I would definitely call the clinic and ask for a blood test, I would be shocked if they refuse you, especially considering your history.

Yes this will be my second chemical pregnancy/early miscarriage. I’ve been away so the clinic did my HCG this morning, waiting for my results but I took another test this morning which was negative so I know what they’ll be. And yes I’m on progesterone ☹️☹️ xx
