Good morning lovely mumsnetters!

I have sadly had 3 pregnancy losses in the last year (11wks, 7wks and a CP) so this journey hasn’t been easy so far for us.
2 days ago I got a vvfl on a CB and of course was overjoyed. However, the line doesn’t seem to be getting significantly darker with subsequent tests. When I had my CP it got lighter each test, but this one is getting slightly darker but not as much as I would have thought/hoped - has anyone got any ideas or experience of this?
For reference, all lines appeared within the 10 minute window.

Thanks always for any advice and kindness 💗

So sorry for your losses, that's really hard. I'm actually suspicious of all of these lines - the bottom one especially looks very thin. I think they might be evaps. Can you get a pink dye test and re test? I know they came up within ten mins but unless they were developed within a couple of mins I think they might not actually be positive.

Thank you so much for your reply, I should have probably been more clear - the shadows came up almost immediately but were faint. They were thicker but when they dried over time they became more narrow. I have had evaps in the past and I didn’t think these looked the same but thank you for saying as it’s always important to consider. Maybe I will try a pink dye test instead x

I agree with PP I’d be concerned these are evap’s rather than actual positives. These tests are horrendous for them, I’ve had evap’s that look exactly like these unfortunately. I’d recommend getting some First Response and testing with those, good luck x

I’m so sorry for your losses. I agree that the lines look suspicious. I think you should try a different test. First response are good for not giving evaps BUT they detect hCG of 6miu/mg when clinical pregnancy is hCG 25mIU/mg. So first response can detect chemical pregnancies and lead to disappointment. Maybe you should try a digital test? Good luck xx
