I’m 37 weeks and 5 days pregnant. Baby is breech and I’m due for a c section in 2 weeks. I’ve been having mild period like cramps maybe twice today but went away and haven’t got any worse. I’ve read labour they would be every 5 minutes and growing more intense. My midwife has said you will know when you are in labour. Trust me. The pain subsided once I sat down. They said if baby is still breech and I go into labour before then I will get an emergency c section. Has anyone been in this situation before and how has labour started for people? No waters broke or anything. I’m guessing it could just be Braxton hicks

37 weeks and 6 days here! Also having a c section but not breech (have a scarred cervix from a previous operation)… I’ve been getting period like cramps a bit this week, on and off for maybe an hour at a time and then nothing for 24 hours. I imagine they’re braxton hicks. My midwife said to take paracetamol and if they’re getting worse or persisting then to contact assessment unit x

That’s reassuring to hear! Yes haven’t had anything since guess it’s prob braxton hicks but haven’t felt the period type pain before
