9 weeks ultrasound

Measuring 8 +6. But absolutely clueless. Can somebody point out what the heck is what? It just looks like a blob 😭
Tech said it is doing well and there was a heartbeat.
What's the line underneath it? And the bits at the top on the right?

Usually at that gestation it does just look like a blob but it’s amazing how quickly it all changes by the time you get to the 12 week ultrasound!

It’s just the position / direction baby is laying in.

your pic looks like a side profile and the head is to the left. They look weird at this stage

Mine was clearer at 8w with transvaginal but they are only just starting to take a baby shape at this point, a blob is usual!

Thank you all for the support! Probably just the hormones getting to me. I'm sure they won't look like a blob forever, just feel like I should know what's what but I'm no trained technicians so maybe not! 😅

Aww. You’ll be amazed at how much they grow by 12 weeks.

It’s just the angle the picture was taken at. My 8 week ultrasound clearly showed head body and little arms and legs starting to grow. The 12 week scan was amazing as it actually looks like a baby at that point and they move like crazy especially if you eat something sweet beforehand.
