First Time Pregnant - how many weeks?

Hi all 🫶🏼 I had my last period on 23/2/25 (ovulated day 27), usually my cycles are 34-36 days, but this particular cycle was due to be about 42 days! Had just been to the GP about starting ?PCOS investigations and then I found out!

I tested positive on my pregnancy test after 7 months TTC and I’m so excited/anxious!

I am trying to work out how many weeks pregnant I am. I am technically 7 weeks from the date of my last period but I feel like that would mean I’m too far along in baby’s progression on the Flo App. The NHS due date calculator says about 5 weeks if based off a 35 day cycle, but 4 weeks is based off the predicted 42 day cycle I was going to have that month so all quite different!

Does anyone have any advice? And are there any new first time mummas here?

Congratulations! You need to work out how long ago you ovulated and add two weeks to that. It looks like you ovulated three weeks ago, so that would make you approx 5 weeks now, with a due date of the 13th December ish (by my rough calculation). Obviously you’ll get a proper due date when you go for your 12 week scan but that’s what I’d go off in the mean time if I were in your shoes!

Thank you so much for this ☺️ I kind of suspected it would be somewhere in the middle but wanted to try to be accurate, it’s all so confusing especially for us first time 😂
