I had a scan done to day 5weeks 6days was told sac is empty very worried can anyone see hope thy are wrong
and also I marked a photo could someone tell me dose this look like 2 sacs or 1

Looks like there's nothing there, I wouldn't get your hopes up

Hi, I went through this recently. The shape of the sac was similar to mine, unfortunately mine ended as a missed miscarriage where a fetal pole (baby) never grew and it was just an empty sac. However, 5 weeks 6 days is still early and they will scan you again in a week or so and you could absolutely see baby by then! X

They would tell you if they saw 2

You might have gotten your dates wrong or implanted later etc. so please check again in a week or so. It might still be too early to detect anything.

Yes but to be honest the lady that scanned me was very awful and I read the reviews after on her page and she has done it to someone before same thing

Got appointment in hospital for scan next week hope so

I was scanned at 6 +1 weeks by NHS couldn’t see a pole. Had to wait ten days. Went back ten days later and baby and heart beat seen. Your very early to be scanned. Why have you been scanned so early? I’ve had previous ectopics so needed to be scanned for rupturing reasons but NHS won’t scan before 6 weeks because not much can be seen.

I went private because I never new last dates and wanted to know how long I was but I have contacted hospital and I have a scan tomorrow in hospital

Hello! I have the exact same situation going I’ I went in early to make sure placement was right and it is we saw empty sac at 5w6d and I was measuring 5w0d- I’m terrified I’m loosing baby! Today is 7w exactly and my scan is on Tuesday and it’s the hardest wait ever!

how is your pregnancy going now? Praying all is well for you! Mine is a frozen embryo transfer via Ivf. My daughter I didn’t have a scan this early but saw her heart beat and everything at 6w1dahes 19m old now. Freaking out a bit. No bleeding and tests are not getting any lighter so we shall see how it goes next week. So anxious.
