Baby movement

Hi, I am wondering if anyone can help I’m 23weeks today and there is no pattern to my baby’s movements, this is my second pregnancy and some days I feel baby move then I can go 2/3 days with not feeling anything. Is this normal or should I be worried? I was thinking of getting a Doppler but I know they can be misleading and don’t give accurate results sometimes.
any advice would be greatly appreciated
thank you

I would call hospital tbh - I went in around 20 weeks for reduced movements and they said I should be feeling something at least once a day, even if it isn't the same time every day.

Don't get a Doppler - even midwives struggle to get the right position, and there's a chance you'll hear your placenta pulsing and think it's baby's heartbeat.

Good luck 🍀

Do you know where your placenta is? Mine is anterior and low down, so I’m barely feeling anything at 22 weeks and definitely nothing resembling a pattern. I wouldn’t personally get a doppler but I don’t think your midwife will mind if you call them for advice

Please do not get a doppler.

As for movements, I was 22 weeks with my first and 20 weeks with my second.
I was told to expect to BEGIN seeing a pattern developing FROM 24-28 weeks and to start mentally keeping track in the third trimester.

Your baby is teeny at 23 weeks and not uncommon for movements to be more sporadic at first
