3rd miscarriage in a year Help!

Good evening all,

June 2024 I fell pregnant after 8 months of trying that ended in a chemical pregnancy then 8 months after I found out i was pregnant again which ended at 6 weeks and fell pregnant quickly after that miscarriage only 4 weeks 5 days today I started bleeding like a period and have pain passed a small amount of tissue I'm guessing this is another miscarriage my heart hurts 💔 😪 why is this happening to me I don't know until I see a gynaecologist for testing didn't think it was possible to have 3 losses in a row.

I have 2 children aged 13 and 14 both were healthy, I am now 35 and struggling to keep hold of a pregnancy any advice I would appreciate.

Firstly sorry for your losses. I can relate as I have experienced 3 recurrent losses between 2023 and 2024 (8 weeks, 5 weeks, 6 weeks).

Not sure what area you live in but here EPAU can refer you to the recurrent miscarriage clinic after 3 recurrent losses. Unfortunately we were told that in majority of cases no reason is ever found.

Hey, I know how you feel have you done any tests? I did and found out I had a low egg reserve which is why miscarriage was more likely in my case egg quality etc

I've not had any tests yet because after second loss I was told no test could be done until I had 3 losses I will contact GP in morning hopefully they will refer me for testing..

It's hard no matter how early a loss is it's still heartbreaking now I wait again for test to return back to negative and have tests before I try again it hurts my heart too much..

Us women ar strong to go through what we do your all amazing I just hope ther is light and the end of the tunnel and I can make my husband a dad for the first time I fele like my body is just failing me and him but its out of my control.

I had 5 early mc between my children, youngest is now 1. Yes you can get referred for tests and that's a good place to start but I'm afraid they are very basic.
I was found to be hypothyroid after loss 3 and started medication for that.
Have a look at Tommy's, I self funded and saw Professor Brosens in Coventry and was found to have low NK cells for which Sitigliptin was prescribed and I conceived my daughter the following month.
Sadly it is very common to be told that there is no cause, keep trying ect but research is progressing and amazing breakthroughs are happening.
It is a truely heartbreaking thing to have your hopes up and be devastated time after time, I hope you can find some answers x
