Leaned over the center car console

I leaned back to pick up a food container not thinking, as I was in the passenger seat and had seen it fall. I did push a bit against the center car console. Does anyone know if this is risky or can cause pressure on the fetus at 16 weeks? Thanks!

I very much doubt it.

MajorCarolDanvers · 05/04/2025 18:10

You will be fine. The fetus is tiny and lots of padding around it.

Come on @CraftyZebra , it honestly seems like you're trolling with all this nonsense now

Stripeyanddotty · 05/04/2025 18:11

No. You really need to work on your severe anxiety. Have you been offered proper support?

PotteringAlonggotkickedoutandhadtoreregister · 05/04/2025 18:13

people who are pregnant wrestle toddlers all the time. They do all sorts of things that mean things push against their bump. This is not an issue.

Thank you for the reassurance. Sorry to ask. Just really scared of messing up here.

Hey, I know you've mentioned you're getting mental health support for your OCD/anxiety but what's actually being offered? Is there a plan to start you off with some medication, there are various ones that are safe for pregnancy? Are you have regular checkins with perinatal mental health and have you been offered any appointment with a perinatal psychiatrist?
I do know how debilitating this condition is - don't hold back with emphasising to the medical professionals how bad it is. I know it can feel really impossible but there are medications and therapies that can and have really helped sufferers of this kind of OCD. Xxx

OP, again, I'm sorry you suffer so bad with anxiety, but this stress and worry is going to do way more harm than all these 'issues' you post about. Step away from google as well

I'll show this to my 2 year old who drop kicked my twin bump while changing her nappy 😅

You’re going have a difficult pregnancy if you’re worried about something like this. I’d suggest you speak to your HCP about your anxiety.
