Hi everyone

First time mum here currently 23 weeks and looking for recommendations for books for both myself and my husband. If there are any books that talk about c-sections as well as vaginal births that would be amazing!

Thank you so much and happy Friday 💛

The Continuum Concept. It's about how women in the Amazon rainforest parent their babies - similar to how our ancient ancestors would've done, in an instinctive way. It changed my outlook and gave me confidence to trust my instincts. Congratulations btw!

Expecting Better and Cribsheet, both by Emily Ostler. She’s an economist who has used proper data analysis to talk about why various recommendations have been made, and what works (and doesn’t).

Steer clear from any book, especially about sleep, which talks about what your baby ‘should’ do, by when. I grew to genuinely hate Your Baby Week By Week when it kept telling me lies like ‘by now your baby will be sleeping through the night’!

I agree - Emily Oster all the way.
