5w 6 days bleeding

Hi,
While going toilet this morning i realised a light bit of bright red spotting. I have been constipated and was straining (tmi but not sure if that could have anything to do with it) but it definitely was vaginal bleeding. No bleeding since that small bit this morning
I went to epu and they scanned me and thought they could see first flickers of a heartbeat but have to come back in 7 days to confirm. Would love to hear positive stories if a similar thing happened with bright red bleeding. I lost previously (missed mc) so am extra nervous.
Doc said could be implantation bleeding but isn’t that supposed to be brown and earlier on (i felt implantation literally 2 and a half weeks ago).

Hello! Always a worry ! I had bleeding when I was a little further along maybe 10 weeks. It was a tiny amount and I think it was a cut! They did find a hematoma which resolved itself and I’m 24 weeks pregnant now! It’s hard when you have to be waiting around for appointments early on. A friend of mine is also 6 weeks pregnant, she had bleeding and was all fine !

Hi! I'm somebody who has bled in every single pregnancy to varying degrees. Two living children. Dd1 was a small amount of spotting around the 5 or 6 week mark just the once, dd2 was super heavy period and clots for 10 days straight a bit further on (still 1st trimester) unfortunately all the others ended in miscarriages eventually.

Currently about 8 weeks and have had 3 bouts of spotting the past 2 weeks, (once also after consipation)
totally understand the anxiety, but if you're not in pain, and it's not getting worse, positive thinking can go a long way! Good luck to you!

I had similar a little later than you, I was 11wks. I had 12 week scan booked so they asked me to wait a few days until that scan to check all was well. It was a stressful wait! They said it was implantation bleeding. All was well and that baby turned 10 a few weeks ago! Good luck with your pregnancy. I hope all turns out positively for you.

Thank you I take cyclogest and have been reading people stories saying it can irritate the cervix and to take rectally instead. Hoping it was just that x
