Hi all.

A bit of context, ive had 3 previous early miscarriages - all at around the 6 week mark but always 8 - 9 weeks going from LMP

Im officially 7 weeks today and due to see the midwife this morning. (Going from LMP)

im om progesterone 2x a day, which im keeping up with thankfully.

However the sleepless nights are getting ridiculous! Im waking every couple of hours because of bad dreams, little twinges or just pure anxiety.
Im sleeping from 7 - 730 onwards becaude im absolutely exhausted.

Does anyone have any recommendations to help me sleep through the night?
Im still working full time and its tiring me out, its like i cant get past 1pm before i start getting really sleepy.

Do pregnancy pillows help at this stage? Is it something i could look at? Or is it just anxiety of my past miscarriages thats putting stress on my mind while im asleep? I keep having bad dreams abiut miscarrying.

Does anyone have any advice or am i best just trying to speak to midwife about it all?

Thank you in advance!

I'm having the same after my second ectopic pregnancy ... I wake up during the night. I am listening to guided meditations before sleeping and it has helped me. If it lasts more than 2 weeks, I suggest you speak to your GP for PTSD therapy.

Speak to your midwife to find out what help there is out there for you. I'm sorry you've gone through so much.

My friend suffered three MC and an ectopic. She now has a very healthy and happy 5 month old! I asked her how she coped and she said the first was the worst. She then learned to shift her mind to believing that the MC was your body's way of letting you know the baby was not healthy and it's best it happens early on and not at a later stage when they are more developed. She has been so strong and I really admire her for it.

Pregnancy pillow wont help you at this stage. Try to remind yourself stress and anxiety isn't good for baby either. Focus on taking care of yourself.

It could just be pregnancy in general. Pregnancy insomnia is quite common. I suffered from it throughout my first trimester.

Wishing you a very happy and healthy pregnancy x
