Spotting at 5 weeks

Hi. 5 weeks and 4 days today. Went to the toilet and had one wipe with very little red/brown blood. This was at 4.20pm. This happened only only one and since then have had zero bleeding /nothing and no cramping. I never spotted/bled in previous pregnancies and thought this was over for sure as soon as I saw it. I suppose my question is...could the spotting be miscarriage when i havent bled since? Only been 3 hours since first and last bleed.

I rarely post but I just wanted to say I spotted with all 3 of mine at 6 weeks. Got an early scan each time too- so kind of a bonus in the end? I hope this is the same for you, or reassuring sf least. Let your MW know. Good luck x

Thank you! Still bleeding (not heavy though, haven't filled up a pad since 6am, nowhere near) and did my 40 mins walk to work with no issues. No pains or crampings. I called my midwifery team but just going to wait it out and see what happens. So stressful. My two boys (5 and 3) have been giving me lots of cuddles although they dont know why mama is upset. Thank you for being kind <3

Hi lovely. You're so sweet. It was a miscarriage and was upset but i know nature does what it needs to do. We're trying again so fingers crossed xx

unfortunately it’s a waiting game. I’ve had 3 MC, one MMC
it could go either way, brace yourself for bad news and anything else is a nice surprise xx
