I know there are threads from last year, but I’m struggling to find anything recent. Has anyone had a false positive on a Morrisons own brand pregnancy test? Took this mid-day and the line came up straight away, has colour to it etc. Just struggling to believe it as I’m on the coil and me and DP struggle to be find any time to DTD…

Why did you do a test ? You must have suspected something . I’d say that’s a +

Just feeling absolutely wiped out and sensitive under arms. I took it purely to rule it out as a possibility

well you can do another test , but as you know of
course it only takes 1 time so there’s every possibility that you are pregnant .
you could also book a doctors appointment and request a blood test , prob the best idea anyway especially if coil is still in place , not to scare you but higher risk of ectopic , good luck

I would do another one before you panic. It looks flooded to me.

HansBanans · 31/03/2025 18:52

Thanks both. Will do another test in the morning and make a dr’s appointment if also positive

I agree. A lot of dye bleed there! But take that out of the equation and it definitely looks positive. Good plan to grab another brand and see in the morning. Let us know. Would you like to be pregnant? 😊

lilyflower1803 · 31/03/2025 20:03

Hi. Just want to comment and say that looks very positive, however, I used Morrisons and got multiple positive tests. Most of them were squinters with a white background, but one with lots of dye bleed had a solid pink line. First response and clear blue were negative so it was a batch of faulty tests.

I would test with another brand perhaps boots or first response to be sure.

lilyflower1803 · 31/03/2025 20:05

This was last month, so could well be the same batch or a recent production issue!

HansBanans · 01/04/2025 02:02

Just been woken by my toddler so took the opportunity to do a Clear & Simple test. Completely negative so looks like the Morrisons test has been faulty @lilyflower1803@Coali, but I’ll test again in two days just to be sure there’s nothing there due to the risk of ectopic like @bugalugs45mentjoned.

@jelliebean9we had decided that we we were one and done, but after the faulty test we are questioning whether we really are!

Hi @HansBanans did you end up being pregnant as I've had two positives with morrisons brand and negative with all other brands?

HansBanans · 23/05/2025 16:27

@Shortbread90hi, no I wasn’t pregnant! Seems to be a common issue with the Morrisons tests

This has happened to me this evening. Took one and had an immediate positive . I've taken the second one and it's negative.
