Start of labour

38+ and curious to know how others knew they were in labour. With my first child my waters went but didn’t experience any contractions/pain until I was induced hours later. Have done a lot of walking Thursday and today and experiencing some mild on/off pains around side of lower tummy… just wondering what to expect should contractions come before waters.

Everyone's experience is different... sometimes waters break before contractions vice versa....or the mucus plug goes first etc, it's not in order. Hope yours goes smoothly 🙏

Mine started with really mild cramps very low down. Then later in the day my waters started leaking.
