PLEASE HELP! When did i conceive?

Hey, i did make a post the other day and some people replied and said this is my partners baby.

I am so so stressed and my anxiety is over the roof.

I am due a baby 2nd august 2025. Me and my partner had sex 9th november 2024 and we split up i then had sex with someone else 16th november 2024 but he didnt finish inside me. I took a pregnancy test 26th november and it was positive and i did a weeks indicator and it said 2-3 weeks. I then did another test 2nd december and it said 3+ weeks. I was booked in for a very early scan on 28th november and you could see a tiny gestational sack and then i had a hospital scan 4th december and you could see a yolk sack at this point. I didnt think if it was the other guys you would even be able to see a sack 12 days later after intercourse at my 28th nov appointment

My period started 23rd October. I have done so many calculators online and they all take me straight back to my partner by saying i ovulated around the 9th november.

Please can someone be really honest with me and tell me who the possible father most likely is, i sit and cry about this situation on a daily basis as my partners family and himself have helped me so much and been the most supportive people and are unbelievably excited.

I suggest you speak to your midwife and get some real life support

For someone with a standard 4 week cycle who ovulates in the middle of it then conception would be the egg that ovulated on 9 November. They typically hang around 2-5 days.

So everything would suggest the 9 November event as the 16 would be a bit late.

That said, there’s not much of a gap between the two. So if calculating based off your last period gave you a later due date, or at any other stage of estimates you’ve had a later due date then it’s less clear cut.

If it was a bet, the odds would be in your partners favour for the above reasons.

However, there are nuances to menstrual cycles, and you really aren’t going to know unless you DNA test. No amount of MN posts and endorsements from people that reply telling you your partner is most likely the father, are going to ease the anxiety you have, which by the sounds if it comes from a place of guilt and desperation.

my cycle is 30 days and my period started 23rd october 2024. When i put this online it gives me a due date 1st august 2025. I did go for a private scan at 9 weeks and they gave me a due date 1st august but then changed to the 2nd august at my 12 week appointment x

Nobody can tell you. The mistake you have made is letting everyone get excited and deceiving them. Unless you’re coming clean before the baby is born then all you can do is wait and do a dna test

It’s impossible to know 100%. You either go forward hoping it’s your partners and out it to one side in your head or you tell your partner the truth. I think with the way you are feeling you should confide in your partner as it would be out in the open and you can proceed with your pregnancy with a clear mind. Good luck OP. It will be fine, this will pass, concentrate on looking after yourself and in turn looking after your baby.
