Hey guys, just looking for success stories/people going through similar, just to talk about something we probably all feel at some point of pregnancy. I had 3 losses in a row all before 5 weeks and then amazingly got a positive in February. I am so happy and feel so blessed to have seen a healthy little bean with a strong heartbeat at 9 weeks. I can't seem to relax at all, I had such strong nausea from week 4 to 8 and feel absolutely fine since except for tiredness. I remember with my 2 girls I was sick every morning for at least 12 weeks! I know every pregnancy is different but wow,the anxiety and actual fear of scans and every visit to the toilet😬 has anyone experienced loss of symptoms at this time and all been okay?

Its so hard to manage the anxiety in this situation, isn't it. I had a straight forward pregnancy, then four miscarriages, followed by a successful pregnancy. With the miscarriages, I hadn't got to the heart beat stage, so hearing that on my last pregnancy was a milestone but the anxiety didn't evaporate. I did have a panic fairly early on, and I was allowed extra scans for reassurance. One midwife in particular was helpful and very supportive, having had similar experiences to mine so she understood. Another milestone was feeling her move, and I found out the sex to help me bond. Dd is now 7 and as soon as she was born, all the heartache of the previous four years did disappear for me.

Ps the mini panic was related to the loss of symptoms. The scan helped with reassurance that all was fine.

Sorry for your prior losses and congratulations OP!

I've had a rough fertility ride over the past 14 years incl loss at 5 months, ectopic and then pre-term birth at 24 weeks. I'm sorry to say that in my experience you'll likely be anxious until you're holding your baby.

In terms of loss of your symptoms. Yes I experienced that. My last pregnancy. I lost symptoms and had a huge bled at 7 weeks. Was convinced it was game over, however, I'm currently holding my 7week old now.

Good luck.

Fluctuating symptoms was really messing with my head. I have a home doppler now and listen to the heartbeat when I’m anxious and it really helps with my anxiety
