5 weeks and bleeding

Hey ladies, I found out I was pregnant a couple of weeks ago worked out I would be around 6 weeks this week, then this Monday started bleeding quite heavily, contacted the midwife and they referred me to the EPU for a scan on Thursday (yesterday), the bleeding had got a lot heavier with clots etc too so I was convinced the worst had happened, but they've told me they could see a yolk sac and also a very faint heartbeat. I've got to go back in 2 weeks due to how heavily I'm bleeding to be checked again to see what is happening. I just wondered if anyone else has experienced anything similar as I'm an absolute anxious wreck and just desperate for the bleeding to stop! Thank you x

I empathise OP. I had bleeding, though not as heavy as you described. No heartbeat but measuring small so had to go back 2 weeks later. They found a heartbeat and he’s 3.5yo. I found it strangely reassuring that, at this stage, there’s nothing you can do to change the outcome. Thoughts with you, the two week wait is long. 💐
