Just looking for some advice really. So I had an appointment with my midwife booked at the children’s centre but when I show up nobody was there. Asked the receptionist who unfortunately could not help. I double checked my calendar and badger app as I thought I maybe messed up something but I was in the right place, right time. Tried to call the midwife, sent her a text and called the community midwifes but they seem to operate in a leaving a message basis, so I left them one. Has anyone had any similar situation? I am 31weeks, FTM, had only one appointment before with this midwife as I was moved from the home birth team. Has anyone had a similar experience? I understand that maybe something came up, but would expect at least some form of contact or from the midwife or from the community midwifes centre?
Maybe I am worrying too much, but I know I need to be booked for my anti d shot, etc and not sure where to ask now..and I guess I am also a bit upset as my previous midwife was amazing and I could always rely on her (unfortunately I cannot have a home birth anymore that’s why I needed to move to another team)
