Blood pressure/ pre eclampsia

Hello,
Ive lurked a bit but never posted but was wondering if anyone had any similar experiences. I went to my 28 week midwife appointment and ended up admitted to antenatal for the night/ day. My urine was clear but they were concerned about my blood pressure, the baby’s growth and the PET ratio(?)Blood tests. I’m not being monitored 3 x weekly in antenatal and have another growth scan booked for 2 weeks time. On the last scan everything (plot and Dopplers) was normal. What would I expect? Am I waiting to develop pre eclampsia now? The consultant said they’d keep baby in as long as she was happy but how long is that likely to be?
sorry for the long post, and apologies if this isn’t the right place I just wondered if anyone had gone through similar.
Thank you

You might not develop pre eclamcia but they will keep a close eye on you. It is very good that your urine is clear. How are your ankles one of the first signs for me was water retention. I was admitted to hospital at 30 weeks because of high blood pressure and urine but I was having twins I was kept in hospital they were born 34 weeks but they were over 5lb so not small.

Thank you so much for replying. My ankles / fingers/ face/ head are all fine at the moment, I felt completely normal I thought the blood pressure was just anxiety so the whole thing came as a bit of a shock. 34 weeks is reassuring, I’m glad it all worked out for you. I guess it just is a case of waiting but everything just feels so unknown.

They will keep monitoring you, adjusting your BP meds and try to get you as far along as possible. Last year, my BP went into the "high" range at 36w. At every appt, the meds prescribed were not bringing it down - they kept adding different types and upping the dose. I was on labetalol and nifedipine and about 15 tablets a day in total by the end. I made it to 39+2 before it "officially" became preeclampsia as my urine and bloods were consistently clear. I went into spontaneous labour at 39+3 and DD2 was quite little, but otherwise fine. I needed the meds for quite a bit longer but think I was off them by 12weeks post partum. I didnt really have a lot of obvious swelling (thought it was just pregnancy weight gain 😬) but i did have a blinding headache the night before I went into labour, which was probably related.
