Brown then pink discharge ,

so a few days ago i had a little bit of brown discharge then followed by light pink 2 days later , i assumed it was my period starting but i have had nothing since, has anyone experienced this before and got pregnant?
please note, i am 45 my periods have been regular and we have done IVF in the past that failed in a miscarriage, i have 2 other children so the problem was not due to me although i am fully aware i am 45 and probably not very fertile 😔. I know i should just do a test but sick of doing them and it being negative.

@Missykateit could be implantation bleeding but the only way to know would be to do a test

When I was pregnant with my daughter I had weeks of pink and then brown/very dark discharge. It was nothing like I’ve ever had before or since and nothing like period spotting.
