Pregnancy tests that later turn positive after timeframe?

Hi
I recently tested at 10dpo yesterday morning and evening and they both turned positive after the time frame. Did another one this morning with the same brand and it came back negative. Anyone else with this experience?. Really confusing

Did you get a pic of the positives x

You can’t really count them after the time frame. Many tests show up lines after the time frame and they aren’t positive. (Clearblue are especially bad for this. They often even show lines during the time frame that aren’t really positive)

I would try a different brand and see what happens. Like PP said I know clear blue are especially bad for evap lines and positives after the time frame x

@JoyfulMum2 I know CB are notorious for false positives but I didn’t use them. I think the name is clear response of so

This is totally anecdotal but I've definitely heard that negative tests are prone to turn positive if you read them later than the advised time. For that reason I'd just disregard anything that comes up after the timeframe. If it's positive, that should show within the time, and if unsure, test again after a couple of days 💕

@PurpleTurtleMoose Thanks alot

I'm 6 weeks now and get strong lines if I test but at the very start (before I missed my period) all my faint positives came up after the timescale. Having said that, once I started getting faint positives I never got negatives again with FMU like it sounds you may have done so my experience isn't quite the same. Good luck xx

@FairMinton Thank you so much for your contribution and congratulations. I will try a different brand on fmu on Wednesday. If I may ask, what are the symptoms u had before your bfp?. Thank you

No symptoms at all by that point. The previous month, I'd had mild cramping around 7-9dpo, and I was convinced it was implantation, but I wasn't pregnant that cycle. The month after, I had no symptoms at all yet and only tested at 8dpo because I wanted a glass of wine! Told my partner it was negative and walked away from the test! I'm glad I checked back more than 10 minutes later (thankfully before wine). Other than that, sore boobs and fatigue were the next things to come in for me about 11dpo.

Thank you for your help. And congratulations once again
