Did anyone else’s have a growth spurt in between growth scans?
Worrying ahead of our next one as baby is in 6th percentile and wondering if it’s possible for it to grow loads in 2 weeks

Nope! Mine was below 3rd centile from 32-38 weeks which resulted in induction and they ended up being born on the same centile. Little bit of jaundice at birth meant slow start to feeding and weight gain but was quicky over come and I now have a petite little toddler who is doing just fine over two years later 😊 averages are there for a reason, people are born on either side of it with no real issues. Enjoy your little cutie when they are here and stock up on new born clothes 💖

Mine jumped from 2nd to 7th centile from 28-30 weeks, then was at 13th centile by 37 weeks. Born at 40 weeks on 25th centile.

Our baby was born early and was 5lb 5oz. she is on the 1.7 percentile but is absolutely healthy and honestly the cutest little thing you have ever seen. I really wish I had known how healthy small babies could be on the lower percentiles as I spent so much time worrying for nothing

Congratulations on your new baby! So the centile is basically the position your baby would be stood in if they line 100 babies of the same age up. So by that logic some babies have to be those smaller centile babies. As long as baby is roughly tracking their centile line when they're both in utero and are growing post birth then I wouldn't worry about growth.
