Feeling so sad and helpless, did anyone take a year plus to fall pregnant again after MMC?

Hi ladies
Not sure if this is the right place for this but I am 9/10 dpo and had BFN. Its really upset me this cycle and this time last year was when I fell preg and ended up having a MVA awake 2 days before my wedding for a blighted ovum.
To say this year has been tough is an understatement. I never knew how much this would impact me. My cycles went crazy long for 7 months (50-42 days) and then down to 35 days and now finally as of last cycle back down to my old 32 days, so finally some improvement. Therefore I've only had 8 cycles but I am still not pregnant and not being pregnant this month has upset me so much.
I keep thinking what if there is something wrong with me now? What if it never happens?
My friends are all having kids now and I feel so sad.
We concieved the 2nd month we tried last time and now I feel hopeless... 30 year old and hub is 31.
Just need a hand hold today please :(

We were over a year trying for our second - one thing I would say is if testing with ovulation strips, do it from as soon as your period ends right through. I always just did the 4 or 5 days around ovulation and got 'highs' around 0.69. One month i lost track and tested a full week earlier and got a solid 1! Dtd and got pregnant first time. So make sure your tracking is accurate as you may be missing your ovulation. X

@Figtree11 yup that's me! I'm doing ok, currently in the process of losing weight to be eligible for IVF on the NHS. I want the decision to go ahead with that or not to be mine, not dictated by BMI (controlling what I can control and all that!). Otherwise still trucking along.
I really am so sorry you're going through this again, life is incredibly unfair sometimes x

So sorry for your situation, very distressing 😞
I researched agnus castus and it seemed to help my cycles and help me get pregnant too after 13 months of nothing except possible chem pregnancies after I had to have a failed pregnancy and huge ovarian cyst removed (big operation) - it's an old herbal remedy but actually has much success if you do the research
Good luck

@Moosey898 its nice to hear from you 🙂 I’m glad you are doing ok. I think it’s good to have something to focus on, and like you say you can then make any decision you feel is right by having the option to choose.

Thank you, life really is unfair that we’re dealt this hand. I’m doing ok at the moment but know it’s very early days & that I’ll have low days. I feel a little better knowing this time I’m under Tommys & not waiting for a referral. While we wait on the results, just trying to live life & book things like holidays to look forward to x

I'm so sorry you're got through this op. It is shit.
I had three MMCs. After the first I conceived again in a couple of months. And then again it was 5ish cycles. After that, it took nearly 4 years to conceive again. It turned out I wasn't reliably ovulating by that point. I took clomid and conceived on the last cycle of that, which resulted in a healthy pregnancy. I had come to terms with it not happening though and was ready to move on if the clomid didn't work, but everyone is different there.

The one thing I would say is that I understand the temptation to test as early as possible. But I decided to spare myself and only test when my period was actually due.

@Figtree11 I'm glad you will get the support from Tommy's and really hope you get some answers. I don't think you've had it yet but if you get the chance to do karotyping I'd definitely do it. Xx

@Moosey898 thank you, I’ll definitely ask about it when I get my next appointment
