Good morning all, I was hoping for anyone who has experienced low blood pressure in early pregnancy?

I am 11 weeks pregnant today, I have been checking my blood pressure at home for the last week as have been feeling dizzy and very tired. I used to have relatively normal blood pressure but the last week it has been sitting around 92/54 even after walks etc.

Please does anyone know if this in normal?

Kind regards and thank you in advance for your help xx

It's common in the first two trimesters. Your blood vessels open wider as you have a higher blood volume. Usually gets better later in pregnancy.

I've had it all my life but it's not a problem, just have to be careful not to get up too quick!

I've had low BP the whole pregnancy......now 39+2 and my latest reading was 91/58.

This has meant I've been very tired with low energy for a lot of the pregnancy. I've also had a consistently high heartrate which causes breathlessness and tiredness too.

The worst bit was the first half of the second trimester where i kept getting really dizzy and falling over. I also passed out on two occasions. I've learned to be a bit more careful since then and it hasn't caused any additional problems but it's something to keep an eye on.
