Anyone else feel itchy

Hi all,
I am 14 weeks pregnant and at night times - my forearms, legs sometimes my thighs or back and head itch. Sometimes it's bumpy and other times it's dry. It is so annoying, sometimes the itchy is that bad I ended up causing a bleed.

Has anyone else had this?

Yep, it's horrific, I really sympathise.
I got some menthol cream from the doctors which soothes it a tiny bit but I'm afraid I had to wait until the baby was born for it to go. Sorry

Say it to your midwife. Seems early for it but there’s some liver conditions in pregnancy and the major symptom is incredible itchy skin.

Yes, I was very itchy, especially in the second trimester.
All was fine with me and I was told it's fairly common in pregnancy but you need to mention it to your midwife as it can also be a symptom of cholestasis.

I was really itchy early in pregnancy, though I can't quite remember when it started and finished. I'm 29 weeks now and it's definitely long gone now. However it was never as bad as you describe - I certainly didn't bleed or have physical signs on my skin, so you may want to get checked out to be safe. As you're 14 weeks it's probably too late for EPU so maybe contact your midwife or antenatal unit directly.

I did at that stage! I’m 31 weeks now and from mid 20’s the arms and legs etc haven’t been as bad but the itchy nipples! Oh my gosh, so bloody bad. Could rip em off if I could haha!
