Braxton hicks?

I'm 35 weeks pregnant and since yesterday afternoon I've been getting cramping and tightening. It's quite uncomfortable and sore down in my lower back, pelvis region. It's not got stronger but it's not going either. Can Braxton hicks be this constant?

I'd honestly ring your local maternity assessment unit and ask to be seen or at least for advice. It doesn't sound like Braxton hicks as they are normally felt at the front and aren't continuous

I'm 39 weeks and have had been having the same.
Really uncomfortable backache and regular tightenings/crampings, moderate pain and pressure. The last 2 nights it's kept me awake and I've had more painful contractions which have lasted for an hour or so but then they just stop . The rest of the time it's uncomfortable but not painful and intermittent.

I was actually at the midwife yesterday and she said to look for when they continue for over an hour at regular intervals (or my waters break, I get a bloody show etc) and then call up. She said it could be a sign of early labour.

I would give your PAU a call.

I was going to call and then it all stopped. I do think she's dropped though as my bump looks lower. Trying not to over do things!

My baby dropped and engaged about 3 weeks ago...... no labour yet unfortunately.

I'm 39+1 and trying all the old wives tales now as the pressure is a lot. Lots of pelvic and back pain too plus regular BH.
