I am eating so much everyday and it’s starting to worry me and most of the time it’s not healthy foods as I tend to go for what is quick.

Heres just an example of how one day can go, so yesterday was the worst day I’ve had for eating but it’s becoming more frequent, I had…
2 crumpets
Bowl of cheerios
Bowl of Cornflakes
Apple
Handful of chocolate buttons
Ham and Mayo Sandwich
2 croissants
2 tubs of Jelly
2 small glasses of coke
Pork pie
Dinner was a chicken breast, peas, halloumi and carrot and suede mash.

already today I have had 2 crumpets, 2 boiled eggs, bowl of coco pops and a croissant and it’s only 11am!! I have been up since 5am so that probably doesn’t help but still a lot for 6 hours.

If I keep on eating like this I am going to gain some serious weight! 😫 I never had this with my first and was able to eat how I usually would and I was much healthier with what I ate. Not sure if it’s due to me having a girl this time so I’m needing more.
Anyone else in the same boat?

I’m 36 weeks OP and I’ve been the same. I’ve just tried to have my normal meals and then for snacks volume eat on low calorie healthy snacks to fill up/ trick my brain into thinking I’m eating more 😅 carrot sticks, cucumber sticks, apple slices, cheese slices etc

19 weeks and right there with you! I don't know what I'm having yet sex wise but had a girl last time and was thinking it might be a boy this time due to the extent of hunger, so think we might be clutching at straws there!

It's just all the carbs here. Yesterday I ate a whole bakery loaf with a whole packet of Boursin.

Like you I'm up early, with a toddler, and just busy so I'm not sure if it's that. I'm trying to keep active, swimming once a week, walks and yoga at home but nothing compared to what I'm eating.

I'm 20 weeks and have had weeks where I've been like this. I have found it ebbs and flows a bit though. Some weeks I've been ravenous and I've definitely overeaten. Other weeks, my appetite has been more normal.

I'm trying not to beat myself up too much as I know normal appetite will return eventually.

All you can do on those hungry days is try and have some nutritious, filling and healthy foods in. Coco pops, chocolate, jelly, coke and croissants won't fill you up, they are junk. Stop buying so much of those things. See them as treats.

You need more protein and fats - greek yoghurt, meat, nuts, avocado etc. Eat as much as you want, but eat well.

From what you've listed here you're eating empty/sugary carbs with little to no protein so there's no way you'll feel full from that for long at all! When we're hungry, our brains automatically make us reach for starchy carbs as it thinks that will make us full quickly and give that glucose hit we need. But the crash comes soon after. I sound like I'm preaching but I swear I'm not, all I wanted in pregnancy was chicken nuggets and bread😂 But to help you feel fuller add in protein and good fats as much as possible. Pregnancy can make you ravenous but you're not getting that satisfied feeling without the protein and fats.
