Hey ladies.

I am 24 weeks pregnant and I took a dip stick and these were the results. Main thing I'm concerned about is the blood, nitrates, leukoztyes and glucose. I'm having my gestational diabetes test in 4 weeks. Should I pop into the triage?

I presume you have UTI symptoms if you did the test?

Yes, you should get it treated - whether that be GP appointment, via your midwife or whatever route you have.

Hi sorry no advice but where did you purchase these strips? Thank you

YouveGotAFastCar · 20/03/2025 09:23

Not triage, usually, but your midwife or GP.

Sorry, what does "pop into the triage" mean? It's not a saying I'm familiar with in England.

MyPinkFish · 20/03/2025 09:29

I think the bought the strips off either eBay or Amazon.

To be fair the only reason I was checking was because I'm at risk of pre-eclampsia so I was looking at my protein.

The only symptom I have is peeing alot, which I put down to pregnancy? X

I'd go see your GP.

MyPinkFish · 20/03/2025 09:39

I've rang my doctors, and have my midwife giving me a ring this afternoon. Thanks for the advice ladies x

Hey, you should go to your maternity assssement unit, they can send off a sample to the lab to see how bad the uti is, you may need antibiotics! Good luck x
