So this is a really obvious girl nub if I ever saw one right? I already have a boy and had no preferences for the sex of the second so delighted either way. Girl mums did your scans look like this? X

I know! This is at 12.5 weeks. Our boys 12 week scan was obvious too.

I don’t mean to hijack your thread but I’m fascinated in this nub theory (first I’m hearing about it!)
I’ve just had a scan at 13 weeks, is there a nub even visable on mine? I’ve tried googling but I’m clueless and no idea what I’m looking for (feel a bit like Rachel in friends!)
Since you know what you’re looking for, if you fancy taking a guess on mine?

@TooFancyNancyHi, your scan isn’t as obvious I can see two lines that can suggest girl but the nub is also at an angle pointing up which suggests boy. I’m only good with obvious scans lool. Did you ask your sonographer if they could tell? Ours was right the first time with our boy and this one said he would say girl.

Update, confirmed baby girl!

congrats - how exciting!
I had a few boy guesses but ultrasound technician was extremely confident that we’re having a girl! 💖
She said she was definitely sure, with no doubt. Even though I genuinely wouldn’t have minded either way, already having 2 beautiful boys, this being our last baby and lots of boy nub guesses I wanted to be sure! lol

Aww we’re all having girls. Both of your scans did look like girls as well. It’s the long parallel lines
