Hi all.
im having my second baby. My first was born at 42 weeks and was 9lb 10oz. Had to have a c section unfortunately couldn’t push him past my cervix.
anyways. I’m having a girl this time. I’m 37 weeks pregnant and had a scan a week ago (I have scans every 2-3 weeks to keep an eye on baby’s weight in case I need another c section)
the baby is currently 6lb 5oz which is a nice size so fingers crossed. But during my 36th week scan her femur length dropped.
at 32 weeks she was:
HC: 312 mm
AC: 301mm
FL: 63 mm
at 36 weeks she’s:
HC: 327 mm
AC: 331 mm
FL: 65 mm
have anyone else experienced this? They booked me in for another scan at 40 weeks to check. They told me not to worry as it might have been the position of the baby during the scan and might be absolutely fine but I am freaking out 😂
I’m quite tall 5ft 7 and my partner is 6ft plus our first born is very tall.
