Brown spotting early pregnancy

Wondering if anyone has had experience of this…

I am about 6 weeks. I had a few positive tests then for just over a week now I’ve had some brown spotting every night, it’s always at night, I don’t get any during the day at all. I can have quite a lot with toilet roll covered for up to 3 wipes some nights. I went for a private scan last Friday they said my lining was very thick and could see what measured at around 5 weeks so I’ve to go back Friday for another scan to check if growth as I may have been slightly earlier than I initially thought (I thought about 6 weeks last week). My symptoms have been on and off, I’ve had some mild back cramp but not consistently. It’s always brown, nothing bright coloured so I’m so confused. I know I just need to sit and wait until Friday but I really just wondered if anyone else had experienced this.

Hi lovely. I don't say this to worry you but I just wish i'd been prepared for what it CAN mean. First preg i had brown spotting off and on the whole first trimester and it resulted in a second trimester loss.

Second successful pregnancy, i had some brown spotting now and again and I believe it was down to how sensitive the cervix can become. Are you doing at night which could be irritating it slightly?
