I'm 4wks today by the midwives dates. This is my 5th pregnancy, luckily my 1st was a happy and healthy baby. My last 3 ended in MC right before 6wks and 9wks (saw heartbeat at 9wks one before lost it!). I'm under consultant now and was told just bad luck etc with the others and I'm showing fit and healthy (minus signs of thyroid problems in future but not now and to monitor it in pregnancy). I've had early pregnancy bloods monday and been completely blindsided by the results!? The midwives said my Progestrone is 5 and my HCG 15.5 and that I should prepare for miscarriage or to test negative by next weekend (basically chemical). I am now going to push for Progestrone moving forward whether that's TTC or if by some miracle this one makes it as I'm starting to think maybe my bloods were always in the floor but it's never been picked up because I lost them all before my booking bloods!!!! GP bloods before 2nd MC my Progestrone was 2!?
My repeat 48hr follow up bloods are tomorrow to see if my hcg has doubled so just have to see now as technically I'm still pregnant with no sign of anything sinister from the outside currently, and I'm exhausted and sore boob's.
Just wondered if anyone has had similar and defying the odds of the midwives saying to expect the worst? And any progesterone and hcg issues that turned out well?
I've read alot of one's that didn't and tbh I'm prepared myself for the worst. Would just love to hear some miracle stories please. Xxx
