Almost there - anyone else 38+ weeks?

It feels like I've been pregnant forever but I've finally got the end in sight and can't wait to meet our baby girl.

ELCS booked for Monday but not unconvinced I won't go into spontaneous labour before then as I'm so uncomfortable - baby is very low, lots of pressure, pelvic pain, back ache, lightning crotch, round ligament pain and Braxton hicks. I've also been having loose bowel movements and been throwing up daily for the last week or so. I can't sleep, not much appetite, trying to walk every day but it's getting harder, I'm alternating between days of extreme nesting and days where I'm absolutely exhausted and can barely even make a cuppa.

Anyone else in the final weeks? How are you feeling?

I'm just over 38 weeks as well.

I feel still normal pregnant if that makes sense! Baby hasn't dropped, house has always been tidy and I'm still going for walks/to the gym as normal.

I'm desperate for a sign I'm going into labour, but I haven't got back pain, or been extra tired, or have pelvic pressure! I'm hoping to avoid induction or a C-section, every day is just a day closer now.

Yes! 39+4 so I know it could be any day. Half excited half shitting it.

Woke up feeling really sick this morning.. been getting back pain and more discharge as well.

Had Braxton hicks for months so don't think they mean anything for me but the countdown is well and truly on.

I just hate the unknown - is anyone else finding the wait stressful?

@Goldpanther my sister was like this. She worked up until the day she went into labour at exactly 39 weeks, no signs of symptoms at all, still plenty energy then labour suddenly started that night without any warning (and it was a quick labour).

@LemonBitter Hopefully it won't be much longer for you, you're so close now! I find this last bit of not knowing when or if or where, incredibly stressful. I'd already had DD1 by now.

I'm still experiencing much of the same: still being sick, can't eat much, backache and very tired. Got a midwife appt in the morning so will be interesting to see if baby has moved further down as the pressure is immense (I was 3/5 engaged a couple of weeks ago).
