Girl or boy? I don't really understand nub/skull theories

Hi there

Had my scan, measuring bang on 13 weeks which should be. For fun, just wondering any guesses for boy or girl? And why? I'm a bit confused by skull/nub theories, but can't see a nub on the images...

Can't see a nub but from skull shape I would say boy as it looks different to my two girls.

Remember it's just a bit of fun though, they're only theories.

I was thinking girl to start with but now thinking more boy. I'm still losing a little bit of weight, not trying to obviously. And I think boys are usually all bump? I'm not showing yet but just wondered if the losing weight means more boy

I would take the old wives tales with a pinch of salt.

I'm pregnant for the second time (both girls) but the pregnancies have been night and day from the cravings to the symptoms to the way I'm carrying and bump shape. So much so I was convinced this one must be a boy as it ticked every 'boy' box but I've had a lot of very clear scans and it's definitely a girl. I'm carrying very small and neat this time whereas last time I was like a whale by this stage (38+4)

I think I can see the nub on the first photo. It looks like a boy to me 😊

I thought that was a girl nub as it was more straight rather than pointing up 🤷‍♀️

Yeah that's what I first thought, that the bit under the leg was the nub pointing more straight but then I don't know if it is the nub 🤣

Where can you see the nub? As I thought I could see under where the leg is but don't think it is...

I’ve circled what I’m pretty sure is the nub. It’s at an angle to the spine and is stacked which is typical of a boy nub

Potential boy nub there but could also be leg! My
boy had a super girly nub which must have been leg.

Skull theory really has no backing, their skulls are the same until around 7 years old I think it is.

please guess with my 13+6 weeks scan. My bump is already seen, lost weight and in pregnancy weight now. I have a girl and i was increasing from first month during her time. And showed later around 4-5 months.
