Evening Everyone,

Whilst I’m incredibly grateful to be pregnant, I’m just passed 1st trimester and I’m feeling exhausted and disinterested after work hours - all I seem to want to do is go to bed by myself! It’s making me feel a bit sad and wondered if anyone feels the same and how they deal with feeling this way.

I can totally relate to this. I'm just out of the first trimester too and still feel constantly exhausted, all I want to do is sleep. Also still struggling with morning sickness, which probably doesn't help with the tiredness as I can't eat properly.

The only thing I can cling on to is that it's meant to be getting easier. Hang in there. x

@PurpleTurtleMoose thanks so much. It always feels more comforting when you know that someone is feeling the same and it’s ok.

I know how the sickness can get tough, I’m the same as you and still struggling. I have found ways to manage it better like avoiding acidic foods, eating smaller and more frequent throughout the day even if it’s just a biscuit then not eating anywhere near bedtime. Hope your glowing stage comes soon 🥰 x

I have a 10 week old and felt like this in first and third trimester most of my pregnancy. I don’t really feel like there’s anything to deal with as such just rest like your body wants it to you’re growing a human being. And then enjoy the times you have energy don’t overthink it

Listen to your body . It's OK to go to bed early or just rest . It's a huge change in your life. I was overwhelming tired during this time , even more so the second pregnancy. But of course not a huge bump to show and some people didn't realise. By the time I was 6 months though I felt so much better right up to delivery . And of course by then people made allowances for you . It should pass and in the meantime take it easy .
