Hello,

I tested this morning after feeling a bit off.. I bought Sainsbury’s own tests and both came up positive straight away .. I have had a false positive a few weeks ago followed by negative (second test in packet) so thought nothing more but bought a clear blue one today after the two positives which just shows negative (taken about an hour and a half after the first one)
I did have a day or so slight dabs of blood few weeks ago

im booked in for a telephone call with the dr on Thursday to potentially check hcg levels - also to check if im possibly that as im 40 this year the menopause starting to show could be causing these positives.

Has anyone had two positives in a row from Sainsbury’s at all? Slightly confused and thinking I light just have a duff packet.

thanks :)

The tests that show lines have dye bleed along the whole test window, so it’s likely just dye that’s tracked up the test indent creating a false positive.
When testing, collect a sample and dip a test in, rather than peeing on the test, to prevent flooding the test and getting dye bleed.

Boots 5 days earlier test and the clearblue early digital as it’s 10miu sensitive, best of luck! And I agree with above, pre into a sterile cup and dip the test in to avoid the lines bleeding like the top two tests!
