Really confused about early miscarriage

I'm going to give as much info as I can here.

I'm 32 and the pregnancy was not planned so I do not have DPO etc.

If still pregnant I am currently 4 weeks and 2 days, and I have 26 day cycles.

At 3 weeks and 1 day I vomited which prompted me to think I may be pregnant. This was followed by nausea and my mouth filling up with saliva, dizziness when standing etc. So at 3 weeks 3 days I took two boots early detection pregnancy tests which came back faint standard positive.

The next morning at 3 weeks 3 days I took an ovum early pregnancy test which was faint standard positive and a clear blue early detection digital test which was positive.

I freaked out for a few days and continued to have symptoms, before at 3 weeks 5 days taking three cheap non early pregnancy tests in one night. Two regular which had faint positives and one digital which was negative.

The next morning at 3 weeks 6 days I took a clear blue early digital which was negative and a clear blue early non digital which was positive.

I rang my GP who said that I'm more than likely having an early miscarriage and I should expect to start bleeding any day. That night I had some brown spotting that stopped. I took a superdrug early test the next morning which was a faint but very visible positive and shortly after I started bleeding very red, quite 'liquidy' blood. It had round 'oily' thicker looking bits in it when it was on toilet paper if that makes sense.

I bled most of the day and it stopped around 6pm and since then I have just had sludgey brown and very light spotting mixed with watery white discharge.

I am not taking another test for a few weeks but I'm just wondering if this is normal? Is there any chance I could still be pregnant? I'm still getting a little excess saliva and I'm very hungry and tired, but the nausea isn't just as bad.

I wrote a similar post yesterday.
so I had faint positives last wed and Thursday which was around 10/12dpo and day 26 & 27 of my cycle.
I had a tiny little brown spotting when I wiped the Wednesday, Thursday a pinky blob of cm then Friday bright red watery blood all day till sat morning then it just stopped, yesterday and today little a bit of brown when wiping with my morning wee then nothing.
I feel nauseous, have a headache and have shooting/tingly pains in my boobs 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ve experienced a chemical before and a miscarriage and both have been normal period bleeding for 3-4 days so I’m a bit at a loss.
Will probably test again towards the end of week and see what’s happening

@Samthenanny sounds so similar to me! How are you feeling?

I also had a chemical before and it was like a period too but the blood was more 'gritty' with tiny clots, except for that all the same heaviness and length.

I had twingey tummy cramps between the start of week 3 and week 4 which are mostly gone now, but last time I had period cramps while I was bleeding and my tummy feels fine this time.

My boobs aren't sore but they haven't been at all this whole time.

My concern at the minute is that the pregnancy is ectopic. Not knowing for sure is quite stressful.

@Noonoo31 I hope you're looking after yourself ❤️

Have you thought about ringing your local EPAU/111 to get a referral to EPAU or some advice? They'd be able to scan to make sure 1) if you're still pregnant, that it isn't ectopic, 2) if you miscarried, that everything has come away.

You can still have pregnancy symptoms after a MMC and can still be testing positive in the weeks after a miscarriage, so EPAU could help you work out what's going on.

(FYI - you can also have signs of ectopic with just cramps, you don't need arm pain. I was referred to EPAU because I was having odd cramps but no bleeding, they told me it could still be ectopic with just the cramps so to get a scan.)

If EPAU saw you, there wouldn't be a heartbeat as it's too early, but they should be able to see how things are getting on.

@Samthenanny I have horrible heartburn and indigestion and I'm really down. I've caught a flu virus of some sort too and I'm very ill with it.

I'm not going to test again because even though I didn't want the baby it is heartbreaking for me seeing the lines but knowing it's probably passed away. I will test in a few weeks and keep aware, but I know nothing I do now will change anything.

@OptimisticRealist2024 thank you ♥️ I might see if the bleeding picks up anymore and ring the EPAU tomorrow if it doesn't or I still feel like sh*t. I'm led to believe that because I'm so early in my pregnancy they won't help me and I need to wait a few weeks.
