I posted on here yesterday reassuring someone about sporadic movements but now I am really worried myself again.

I have been feeling strong movements and kicks for about four weeks. I am nearly 22 weeks now. However these seemed to have got less frequent and less strong in the last couple of weeks. I had my 20 wk scan last week (and everything looked ok) and I mentioned it to the nurse who dismissed my orries saying you shouldn't expect to feel much at 20 weeks. That would be fine if I hadn't already been feeling strong movements. I have felt him move about three times between yesterday and today and had no kicks whereas previously there were days when he moved all day long.

Theres no point me calling the mw again as I heard his hb with my doppler and they will probably be dismissive again.

I know that you can feel differing amounts of movement according to their position etc but I have no idea whether you are supposed to feel them moving every day.
I just wondered whether anyone else has had this?

am 29wks and didn't have any movement all weekend, its very easy not to notice the subtle more swishy movements sometimes, try not to be too hard on yourself

try something sugary e.g coke
something cold - cold glass of water
have a bath
listen to some loud music
shine a light/torch on your stomach

sit down with your feet up and relax!!!

if none of this works and you're not reassured phone the m/w
