Me and my fiancé have just announced that we are expecting a baby after years of infertility. We are overjoyed ❤️
does anyone have any guesses on gender from this scan?

However, I think you mean sex, rather than gender.

And it would be impossible from that scan to determine if it’s a male or female child.

I started with ‘congratulations'. With which I was very genuine. Who wouldn’t want to see a lovely scan of their baby, especially after years of trying to conceive?

It’s not my fault if it’s misleadingly entitled a ‘gender’ scan! The only thing you will be able to see from a scan is the sex of the baby. Gender is a social construct.

I’m sorry to disabuse you of this. It’s a serious issue. Sex is immutable. Gender is a social construct.

"gender" doesn't exist. It was made up to allow males to tell us they "felt" female. It opened that old door up.

Gender as a stand alone separate thing doesn't exist. We've made it up to suit current agendas. Sex is gender, gender is sex. The sooner we get back to that. The sooner Lia Thomas stops swimming next to our daughter's! 😉
