Fetal growth scan drop in percentiles ?

im currently 31 + 1 weeks pregnant and on my last growth scan (2 weeks ago on Tuesday) and baby had dropped from 32nd percentile to the 11th which they said was a significant drop. I asked what this meant and they said they would consider bringing her early if they saw this again. Has anyone else had this happen and what was the outcome? Did they get delivered early?

DD1 dropped centiles at every growth scan we had. She went from something like 75th to 50th to twenty something and then at 37w, she dropped below 10th. I was offered induction at that point for 39w, but she was born spontaneously at 38w in the end. The doctor said to me that it's below 10th that they start to worry. She was born 5lbs 12oz, so was quite little but caught up once we started weaning at 6months. When is your next scan booked for? I'd do some reading up on your options - induction vs waiting vs ELCS and be prepared with some questions. Also make sure you are monitoring movements and that your hospital bag is packed, just in case. They aren't certain why DD1 was so little, but I had high pressure in one of my uterine arteries plus at the very end of my pregnancy, I had high BP (literally the day before I went into labour) so I think probably both of those things were a factor.

My next scan is tomorrow at 31 + 3 so presume they wouldn’t get her out yet but if she has dropped some more I don’t know?! Wish I just knew what to expect !

Hey, we were on the 50th percentile at week 28 and now at 31+4 have dropped to 6th percentile. We need to be sent
for another scan in a few weeks but feel your worry! Did you have any news since this post!?

On the next scan she went up to the 28th! I’m being induced at 37 weeks xxx
