Does this look like twins!?

Hi new here so not sure if im doing this right.
Im 33 and i had a very early scan at I think around 4 weeks 5 days due to a previous ectopic pregnancy.
I got a little scan photo but as I’ve zoomed in I can see two dots? The lady who scanned me didn’t say anything about twins she just said “I’ll get you back in two weeks as I’ll be able to see more then”
does this look like twins? Or is it just too early to tell or would she have been able to tell on the scan?
Twins don’t run in my family or husbands.

It's probably too early to tell, though I can also see two dots. Do keep us updated how your scan in 2 weeks goes though? 😊

At that stage you see a yolk and a yolk sac so I expect that’s what it is. It’s too early to see an embryo. You would see two yolks and two sacs if it was twins.

Is that a better picture? I’ve lightened it. Having your phones brightness on max should help see the two dots.
I can’t wait for two weeks so have booked a private scan In for this Sunday 🙂

No heartbeat yet as too early, and yes currently going insane wondering. Should never have zoomed in 😅 5 days to go!

I started out with 3 "potential" embryos when my pregnancy was discovered by accident very early. Apparently it's common, only one actually became a baby.
Before 6 weeks I wouldn't even consider a scan to try to work out out, as only at 6/7 weeks can they tell if something looks viable when a heartbeat appears and so will actually be likely to progress.

i had twins scan and they were clear at 7 weeks one had died at 3 weeks but was still clear bean shape and white only one with heart beat

it was ivf and I did an early pregnancy test one week after the egg was put in and it was a super strong clear positive which I put down to twins at that point as my first single pregnancy the early tests was v faint

in a non ivf pregnancy I’d have first scan at 12 weeks and would not have known about his twin, so glad I found out

fingers crossed for you , btw identical twins don’t run in families they are random as far as anyone knows it’s the two egg non identical ones which run in families
