IVF: sex selection

PLEASE no judgmental posts. I am just curious as to whether anyone has done IVF for sex selection purposes only.
If so, how did it go? Were you successful? Where did you do it? Did you tell any family/friends?

It’s illegal in the U.K. For a reason.

Illegal in the UK (unless for very specific genetic reasons). And should be.

I know it is illegal. Which is why I asked about location.

You don’t get to ask for no judgement when you’re asking for advice on how to do something illegal.

Maybe spend the money on some therapy instead. The sex of your child should not matter so much.

I believe people who want to break the law go to Cyprus or somewhere similar

Are you only going through IVF for sex selection? because those of us who have gone through IVF - - 99.99% would find such a decision pretty distasteful

I’ve been through ivf (not for sex selection) and if I wasn’t infertile no way would I put my body through taking all those hormones.
and sex selection doesn’t sit right with me. If I did it I would feel ashamed and wouldn’t tell anyone tbh.

Presumably, you could only select if there was a sex- linked disease in the family.

Get some therapy. It's cheaper.
