Bumped my hip into a wooden table. I’m like 13 weeks pregnant. I know the baby is well cushioned but just wanted to make sure I didn’t bump it? Thanks

Your womb is nowhere near your hip.

Where2GoNext · 15/03/2025 21:47

How would you have bumped the baby if it was your hip that hit the table??!

Scutterbug · 15/03/2025 21:49

You’ll be fine! Baby isnt in your hip x

Stripeyanddotty · 15/03/2025 21:49

You seem severely anxious.
Have you spoken to your midwife about the anxiety?

sel2223 · 15/03/2025 21:56

I think I've commented on 90% of your threads.
Have you spoken to the midwife yet? Are you getting the help you need?

Where2GoNext · 15/03/2025 22:07

Ah yeah I've looked at your other posts OP.

Please please please talk to your midwife. She will be able to refer you for appropriate support.

itbemay1 · 15/03/2025 22:48

In the nicest possible way. You need help. This isn’t a normal thinking pattern. Please speak to your midwife OP

I agree with the other posters, I’m really sorry you are struggling with anxiety. But this is more harmful than banging your hip or getting washing liquid in your mouth x

OP, kindly, you can't spend your entire pregnancy writing threads on MN for doing every day things like bumping a table and getting a whiff of vinegar. I'm really worried for you (if this is all legitimate) that you can't rationalise these things. You deserve to enjoy your pregnancy and reading your threads sounds like you're really, really not. Please take control and look after yourself.

Whitesapphire · 16/03/2025 11:58

I wonder what you’re going to come up with for today’s thread?

Elz1406 · 16/03/2025 13:52

Hi OP, I'm so sorry you're experiencing such severe anxiety. I'm a long term OCD sufferer (it got worse in pregnancy) and have experienced the feelings of constant doubts and fears- I know how incredibly debilitating it is and how triggering pregnancy can be. I'm on medication for my OCD and have regular therapy. For this pregnancy, I'm under the specialist perinatal mental health team. Please, please, I urge you to get help if you haven't already done so. Or if you have please let you midwife/trust know that it's not working and you need further intervention. There are things that can help ❤xxx
