No
Both negative

LucyLou0527 · 14/03/2025 19:41

They are both positive

Poppins2016 · 14/03/2025 19:52

Possibly; I can see lines on both tests. Did you read the results within the allotted time window given by the instructions?

I'd test again in a couple of days using first morning urine and see how it looks then.

They are both positive

No they are not and telling people that their tests are positive when they are blatantly not is not a kind thing to do.

The modern craze for repeated testing and talk of evap lines etc just makes money for the test manufacturers. It is not good for people's mental health either.

A proper positive test doesn't need stranger's opinions, it is obvious.

They are both negative. As bigearrings as said, I don't understand the trend for testing frequently. It costs a fortune and maybe gets hopes up. Women need to wait for a missed period then test. Positive tests after a missed period are usually very obvious. And before anyone says I don't understand how hard it is to wait when you're desperate to be pregnant, I do. I've been there. But testing early and frequently does not help. It just adds money to the company that makes the tests.

I'm sorry they're not positive OP. I hope it all works out for you.

Initially I thought they were positive with faint lines but on second look it may just be shadow. Can you do another from a different angle?

howdoyoudooooo · 15/03/2025 10:19

Why do people do this to themselves, trying to squint at a blank space and persuade themselves there’s a line 😢

Agree with @Bigearringsbigsmile and @Caaarrrl

WhatMe123 · 15/03/2025 10:24

Looks like just shadow off the screen on that photo op can you not post a new picture

Bigearringsbigsmile · 15/03/2025 15:31

And yes, I have experienced infertility and I understand how it feels to long for a positive.

I don’t understand how I’m being unkind? I can literally see lines on both tests and I’m sure you can too?

Poppins2016 · 15/03/2025 23:59

Just for balance... I've had early positives that looked like this (3 pregnancies, so I've used enough tests/certainly wasn't seeing things...). Hence my "possibly, but test again in a couple of days" comment. Yes, of course, a test is unmistakably positive once you're a good way past your missed period date... however a faint line is still a line (as long as the test is read within the time window specified).

The question of whether it's a good idea to test so early/often is a good/valid one, but to be honest, it feels like an unhelpful pile on in this thread... some people like to know early (I did, because it explained how I was feeling) and some don't. There's no right or wrong and it's not worth losing so much energy over other people's choices.
